Join colleagues from across UH as we seek to build collaborative partnerships on campus and with the greater Houston community. This interactive day of sessions will explore the role of the University within today’s healthcare system, highlight current health science projects from many different discipline areas, and offer opportunities for networking with key community stakeholders and UH College of Medicine leadership.
On the first Friday of every month, UH students are invited to start off the weekend with art-making, guided tours and fun activities.
This nationally recognized program is designed to educate persons to recognize and respond to the signs of suicidal thinking and behaviors. Individuals will learn how to ask the suicide question, how to persuade the person to contact appropriate assistance, and how to identify referral options.
Free and open to the public, Public Art of the University of Houston System hosts regular tours every first Friday, from October through May. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, director and chief curator Maria Gaztambide will lead a tour focusing on Latin American and Latino artists in PAUHS’s collection.
