Yoga is the practice of moving through asanas, or postures, often practiced alone for fitness or combined with meditation to calm and center the mind. This practice is beneficial for reducing stress and anxiety as well as building strength and flexibility.
Join us for a lecture entitled, Slow Architecture, with Anupama Kundoo discussing the potential of architecture to address complex intersections of urbanization, people, technologies, resources, and environment within the context of growing affordability issues.
This class is held at a gentle pace in order to learn the foundational poses of yoga. Participants will learn how to integrate the concepts of yoga through breathing techniques, postural alignment and how to be more present to your mind, body and spirit.
