start

HPAC
is
a
committee
of
UH
professors
that
serve
as
a
review
board
for
students
applying
to
medical
and
dental
school,
and
provide
application
feedback
as
well
as
a
ranking
for
our
students.
If
you
are
planning
to
apply
for
medical
or
dental
school
in
Spring
2023
(starting
medical
or
dental
school
in
Fall
2024),
it
is
recommended
you
utilize
HPAC.
In
order
to
utilize
HPAC,
you
must
attend
one
of
the
HPAC
Orientations.

The
HPAC
Personal
Statement
Orientation
is
designed
to
help
our
pre-medical
and
pre-dental
students
develop
strong
personal
statements
that
showcase
their
desire
to
join
their
respective
profession
and
highlight
their
experiences.
The
orientation
will
include
a
presentation
as
well
as
a
group
discussion
to
help
answer
questions
and
develop
ideas
for
your
personal
statement.
Students
who
wish
to
go
through
HPAC
evaluation
in
Spring
2023
must
attend
one
HPAC
Orientation,
one
HPAC
Personal
Statement
Orientation,
and
one
HPAC
Personal
Statement
Workshop.
Please
be
sure
to
sign
up
for
one
of
each
event,
and
sign
in
when
you
attend
to
receive
credit.
