The American Student Dental Association Predental Chapter at the University of Houston is an organization that serves to educate students about the field of dentistry. We strive to inspire our members to pursue a dental profession and to guide them to success. Members will listen to experienced guest speakers, volunteer within our community, promote cultural diversity in the dental profession, and shadow local general dentists and specialists. As a nationally recognized ASDA predental chapter since 2016, we offer a multitude of opportunities to connect with other ASDA chapters locally, regionally, and nationally.
MEDLIFE at the University of Houston is a part of a worldwide Movement. Our mission is to fight for equal access to healthcare, education, and a safe home in underserved communities. We envision a world free from the constraints of poverty, and we need your help to do so. This semester, we will be providing online events for volunteering, socializing, and fundraising. Currently, we have been fundraising as a response to COVID-19 relief efforts. However, we will also be discussing patient stories, health professional schools, and various health-related topics at our meetings.
