Blaffer Art Museum presents first solo museum exhibition in the United States for UH Alumna Maria A. Guzmán Capron.

The Blaffer Art Museum is proud to present the first solo museum exhibition in Texas of artistic and life partners Nick Vaughan and Jake Margolin (working collaboratively as “Nick & Jake”), whose poignant interdisciplinary practice marries art, theatre, performance, archival research, and spoken word.

Interested in seeing what a medical school and its facilities look like? Join Alpha Epsilon Delta on a tour of Sam Houston College of Osteopathic Medicine. They will be escorted around campus and students will have the chance to ask questions and get a feel for life as a medical student.

The lecture by Harvard historian Victor Seow will examine the use coal for energy and how this issue developed in East Asia. Seow will tell the story of “fantasies of a fossil-fueled future and the technologies mobilized to turn those developmentalist dreams into reality.”
