CheckED invites you to attend a free virtual event featuring Celeste Malone, an associate professor and coordinator of the school psychology program at Howard University. She will share her journey and discuss the development and impact of multicultural competence in school-based practice on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 5 p.m. RSVP via Zoom.
The LGBTQ+ Rainbow Chats are for all sexual and gender identities as well as people questioning their identity. It is an intentional space for students to share and learn about all identities on the spectrum.
Yoga is the practice of moving through asanas, or postures, often practiced alone for fitness or combined with meditation to calm and center the mind. This practice is beneficial for reducing stress and anxiety as well as building strength and flexibility.
This class is held at a gentle pace in order to learn the foundational poses of yoga. Participants will learn how to integrate the concepts of yoga through breathing techniques, postural alignment and how to be more present to your mind, body and spirit.
