POPS (Optometry) General Meeting

Pre-Optometry
Professional
Society
(UHPOPS)
is
a
student
organization
dedicated
to
providing
a
source
of
information
for
individuals
who
are
interested
in
the
field
of
optometry.
We
aim
to
offer
our
members
exposure
to
vision
health,
as
well
as
to
educate
our
members
about
the
requirements
for
gaining
admission
to
a
professional
program.
UHPOPS
provides
its
members
with
opportunities
to
obtain
first-hand
experience
with
vision
care
through
shadowing
and
volunteer
events.
During
our
bi-monthly
meetings,
we
invite
guest
speakers
such
as
optometrists
and
representatives
from
various
optometry
schools
around
the
nation.
Our
meetings
are
a
gateway
to
information
about
leading
technology,
legislation,
and
optometry
school
admissions.
