Career Fair

The Hines College of Architecture and Design's Career Fair is a collaboration between the Hines College, the UH Architecture + Design Alumni Association, and University Career Services. It is open to all College of Architecture and Design students and recent alumni. This event is an opportunity for employers to recruit UH students and alumni for open roles, internships, or future opportunities. This event is hosted annually during the spring semester. The proceeds of this event support the Architecture + Design Alumni Association and its Endowed Student Scholarship.

Network Reception
Wednesday, February 21, 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

This year, we invite all employers participating in the career fair to a reception with our students graduating within the next year. This informal reception allows for time outside of the fair to visit with students. There are no tables available or interviewing. The attire is business casual, and food and drinks are be provided. This reception is included in the cost of registration. However, tickets can be purchased separately for employers where time away from the office or finances is a barrier to all-day participation.

Fees and Registration (payment accepted online with the registration form below):

All Day Career Fair Participation in the Atrium and Network Reception:

  • Employers with less than 20 employees: $425
  • Employers with more than 20 employees: $575

Network Reception Ticket ONLY**: $50 per firm

**The reception cost is included in your all-day registration price. However, employers can purchase a ticket to the reception only for $50 per company.

Logistics:

Directions, parking, and reminders are sent to confirmed employers prior to the event.

Applications through Cougar Pathway

Each employer will be required to post a job listing in Cougar Pathway. Students will need to upload a resume, receive approval (which will take 1-2 business days), and apply to jobs through each listing. Employers will then have time to review applicants and select who they would like to interview.
Interviews are not scheduled through Cougar Pathway, so employers should personally reach out to applicants to coordinate interview scheduling. This gives employers more flexibility in managing their interview schedules for Career Fair.

Attendee Information

This event is targeted to UH COAD enrolled students (Fall 2023), recent UH alumni (May 2023 graduates), and UH Alumni Cougar Pathway subscribers.
