The cost of living in Houston
As much as Ann Arbor is a great place to live, it can also be expensive. Dinner can cost you as little as $5 if you decide to eat pizza or as much as $50 if you decide to dine at the Gandy Dancer. Rent is not cheap either but we have to pay up. In the end we all need a place to stay. If you are smart shopper you can find things cheaper so don't despair. After all we are all students and we all survive.

- $200-$500 per month (eating at restaurants)
- Average Dinner: $10-$20 per person

- Regular Coffee:$1.00-$1.50
- Cappuccino:$2-$3
- Espresso:$1-$2
- Bottle of Soda:$0.70-$1.20
- Gas:
- $1.30-$1.50 per gallon
The weather in Houston
The weather in Houston is mostly hot and humid except for the months of October - February when the weather tends to get a little colder. Weather in Houston is also very unpredictable, it can be very hot one day and be freezing cold the next, so be prepared for these changes.
