Administration & Finance / News / News ReleaseFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Kristina Michel Textbook Loans Available for the Fall SemesterHouston, Aug. 2, 2017 —Beginning Aug. 9, University of Houston students in need of extra financial assistance to buy textbooks for the fall semester can apply for a textbook loan. The short-term loan offers $400 to use toward buying textbooks and school supplies at the UH Bookstore, located inside the Student Center South. Students can apply for the loan until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, and they must be used in the bookstore no later than Sept. 30. Every UH student qualifies to receive a textbook loan regardless of whether they are receiving financial aid. To apply for a textbook loan, students should follow these easy steps:
