Celebrate Go Texan Day With UH Dining

Houston, Feb. 24, 2017 — UH Dining will host a rodeo-themed event in honor of Go Texan Day on Friday, March 3, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cougar Woods Dining Hall and the Fresh Food Company in Moody Towers.

Guests can enjoy classic southern entrees including sliced brisket, pulled pork sandwiches and fried chicken, served with baked beans, potato salad and macaroni and cheese. Visitors also are invited to indulge in desserts such as cobbler and funnel cakes.

UH Dining asks that customers wear their best cowboy or cowgirl attire to celebrate. Faculty and staff wearing western attire will receive the $5 Friday special discount.
