Campus Community Reminded to use Temporary Food Permits

Houston, March 30, 2017 — As the University of Houston continues to support the March for Babies campaign, many food fundraisers are being planned by different departments on campus.

UH Food Safety Specialists Christina Martinez and Karla Acosta are happy to assist with approving these events. To help protect the campus community, all UH food service facilities, organizations and departments are being reminded that they must follow the UH food sanitation guidelines and submit a temporary food dealer's permit/request form prior to hosting a food fundraiser.

Anyone who has questions regarding the temporary food dealer's permits should call 713-743-5858. The permit request form can be found online.
