Human Resources to Provide Two Financial Wellness Sessions

Houston, April 5, 2018 - The University of Houston Human Resources department will host two financial wellness presentations to demonstrate the UH System's interactive retirement savings portal, Retirement @ Work.

The presentations will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion on the second floor of the MD Anderson Library, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in Room 110 of Building 4 at the Energy Research Park.

Representatives from UH and the four key UHS Retirement Savings Plan vendors - TIAA, Fidelity, VALIC and Voya - will explain how employees can enroll, maintain and manage their retirement savings plans using the Retirement @ Work online portal. These sessions are free to UH employees. Lunch will be provided. To attend, employees must register as space is limited.

On both days, TIAA, Fidelity, VALIC and Voya will be on hand to answer questions and provide more information about their retirement investment services. During the latter part of the presentation, employees will able to speak with representatives one-on-one and make individual appointments to meet at a later date.

Retirement @ Work is an online portal that allows UH System employees a simplified, more interactive experience in managing their retirement savings plans. It is a one-stop shop where employees can review and update their contribution amounts and investment choices, and take advantage of calculators and other tools to help create a personalized retirement plan to fit their needs. Access the portal via AccessUH under Administrative Services.

For more information about retirement and other UH employee benefits, visit the benefits page on the Human Resources website or contact the HR Service Center at 713-743-3988.
