Monthly Online Dietitian Newsletter Launches

dietitian newsletter

Houston, Feb. 24, 2017 — University of Houston Dining Services has launched a monthly dietitian newsletter to encourage healthier choices on campus.

February is Heart Health Month and so the inaugural issue features heart health tips from UH Dining Dietitian Danielle McFeron, including how to make a heart healthy salad and why adding omega-3 fatty acids is important.

Subsequent issues will spotlight how to make healthier choices at the campus dining locations.

"We are so excited to launch this campaign," McFeron said. "My goal is to raise awareness about the healthy products we have on campus as well as how to get the most benefit from them."
