UH Dining Will Celebrate End of Year with Block Party

Houston, April 17, 2017 — University of Houston Dining Services will celebrate the end of the school year with a block party April 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Student Center Plaza.

UH Dining invites all UH students, faculty and staff to join them in celebrating another year at the University. The event will include many freebies and fun activities. UH Dining will give away free ice cream treats and Chick-fil-A lemonade and teas. Monster Energy will also be at the event giving away free drinks and swag. Yard games including Cornhole, giant Jenga and Connect Four will be available to play.

"We understand this is a stressful time of year for students," said Nick Mendez, UH Dining's resident district manager. "We want to help them relax and have some fun before they have to buckle down and get through those finals."

The block party will feature a Snapchat filter that guests are encouraged to use. Be sure to tag UH Dining in any social posts using the filter.
