National Night Out activities were held Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Lynn Eusan Park.
The three-hour event was organized by the University of Houston Police Department and included free hot dogs. Various UH departments, organizations and groups had tables set up.
Immediately afterward, Walk in the Dark was held, during which volunteers walked around campus to identify safety-related issues that need to be addressed, such as uneven sidewalks and low-lit areas.
