Dean Ruck is a recent recipient of
the 2009 Texas Society of Architects
Citation of Honor- Artisan Award.
The luncheon ceremony was held
October 24th during the 70th Annual
TSA Convention at the George R.
Brown Convention Center in Houston.
The award was presented to Ruck and
his collaborator Dan Havel for their
ongoing �architectural euthanasia�
projects such as �Inversion� and
�Give and Take� (featured in the
Contemporary Arts Museum �No Zoning�
exhibit this past summer). Ruck
serves as a Senior Project Manager
in Facilities Planning and
Construction where he manages
projects such as Calhoun Lofts Art,
Valenti School of Communication
Expansion, and the UH-Clear Lake
Arbor Building.
