The Office of Sustainability held its fourth annual electronics recycling drive on Friday, March 9.
The event, once again held in conjunction with Bass Computer Recycling, took place in the circle drive of the Student Center and was open to students, faculty and staff. From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day, people were able to drive up and drop off all their old electronics equipment.
This year’s event was the most successful one to date. A total of 5,471 pounds of materials were dropped off for recycling, surpassing last year, when 3,500 pounds were collected.
