Human Resources held the annual Employee Wellness and Benefits Fair July 12 to a great turnout. About 1,500 University of Houston faculty and staff came to the event at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
More than 50 vendors and UH departments attended the fair to share information regarding financial, health and wellness benefits and other resources available to faculty and staff. At their tables, organizations provided promotional materials and informative handouts, as well as representatives to answer questions about their services.
While there, employees received free T-shirts and snacks, and took pictures with Cougar mascots Shasta and Sasha. As an added incentive to participate in the fair, employees had the opportunity to win raffle prizes, including gift cards, party packs and goodie bags.
