University of Houston Dining Services invites the campus community to enjoy rich traditional German fare as it hosts an Oktoberfest-themed lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, at the Fresh Food Company at Moody Towers.

Traditional German entrees will be served such as sauerbraten, a marinated roast beef served with a thick brown gravy. Other entrees include grilled bratwurst, turkey cutlets and ham and Swiss sandwiches. Sides will include items such as red cabbage with apples, sauerkraut with bacon, green beans and a soft pretzel.

Customers can also enjoy Bavarian desserts such as apple cranberry walnut crisps, black forest cupcakes and apple cider to conclude their hearty meal.
