Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) MajorB.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) Program

Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) Program

This program is no longer accepting new or transfer students.

The B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences provides students with educational experiences and training in the pharmaceutical and related health sciences. The pharmaceutical sciences include medicinal chemistry pharmaceutics, pharmacology, toxicology, pharmacy administration, and health outcomes.

The program will provide students the opportunity to develop capabilities in the following areas:

  • Science: Comprehension of scientific methods and principles, analysis of information and laboratory data, and their use in the discovery of knowledge.
  • Mathematics: Utilization of mathematical principles to analyze physical, biological,a nd socioeconomic phenomena.
  • Communication: Ability to read, write, speak, and listen effectively.
  • Development of logical and analytical reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
