Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: GRTC 3353 or equivalent. Graphic communications processes and ancillary operations. Materials used in the graphic reproduction process.

3351: Image Technology I (formerly ITEC 3351)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: GRTC 3353 or equivalent. Theory and practice in the preparation of single-color images for reproduction. Conventional and electronic methods. Use of appropriate quality control devices.

3352: Press Technology I (formerly ITEC 3352)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: GRTC 3353 or equivalent. Theoretical and practical aspects of printing presses for single-color reproductions. Use of appropriate quality control devices.

3353: Visual Communications Technology (formerly ITEC 3353)

Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: GRTC 3351 or equivalent. Theory and practice in the preparation of multi-color images for reproduction. Color theory as it applies to image reproduction. Conventional and electronic methods. Use of appropriate quality control devices.

4376: Multimedia Authoring (formerly ITEC 4376)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: GRTC 3353 and senior standing. Planning and developing multimedia productions.

4377: Practicum in Graphic Communications Technology
Cr. 3. Prerequisites: GRTC 3351 and 3352. Directed individual study in graphic communications technology. Class presentations by students; instructor-led discussions of research methods.
