1362: Introduction to Industrial Distribution (formerly ITEC 1362)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Processes and procedural operation problems of industrial distributors with primary focus on the wholesale industrial distributor and the relation to other channel members.

3380: Distribution Technology (formerly ITEC 3380)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: DIST 1362. The organization and operations of industrial firms with emphasis on vendor evaluation, research techniques, complex pricing, value analysis, promotional methods, and channels of distribution.

3381: Industrial/Consumer Sales (formerly ITEC 3381)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: junior standing or consent of instructor. Analysis of consumer bases, product knowledge and applications, benefits selling, competition analysis, and strategies and methods appropriate to inside/outside sales.

3383: Industrial Direct Response (formerly ITEC 3383)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: DIST 3381. Development of vendor-customer direct solicitation, and order and reorder response systems. Incorporates telemarketing, direct mail, and catalog/direct mail as part of closed loop direct response system. Interactive system design.

3384: Physical Distribution (formerly ITEC 3384)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: DIST 1362, junior standing or consent of instructor. Basic aspects of space allocation, internal flow designs, retrieval systems, and inventory control systems as they relate to physical distribution.

3385: Transportation and Traffic Technology (formerly ITEC 3385)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: DIST 1362. Transportation modes, rates, capabilities, and reliability factors in relation to freight shipments of inventory and materials. Encompasses inter- and intra-modal transportation problem system, containerization, and traffic scheduling.

3387: Procurement I (formerly ITEC 3387)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: DIST 1362. Purchasing functions including vendor analysis, negotiations, value analysis, systems contracts, public purchasing, organization, personnel, policies, competitive bids, and ancillary functions.

4312: Inventory and Materials Handling (formerly ITEC 4312)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: DIST 1362, 3384, and 3387. Movement, handling, storage, and shipment of products from producer and distributors to user. Recognition and utilization of tools and techniques available to industrial distribution systems. Emphasis on mechanical and automated handling systems.

4380: Quality in Distribution (formerly ITEC 4380)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: DIST 1362 and TMTH 3360. Development of quality systems for distribution facilities including applications of statistical analysis.

4387: Procurement II (formerly ITEC 4387)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: DIST 3387. Advanced analysis of purchasing functions focusing on materials flow processes within an industrial organization.

4389: Applied Problems in Industrial Distribution (formerly ITEC 4389)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: second semester senior standing in College of Technology or consent of instructor. Application of distribution technologies to warehousing, personal selling, and inventory scheduling as related to industrial warehousing.
