China State Administration for Foreign Experts Visits UH

Visit from the China State Administration for Foreign ExpertsThe Asian American Studies Center hosted a short visit from Atlanta, GA based representatives from the China State Administration for Foreign Experts on June 9, 2014.  During the brief visit President and CEO, Mr. Liu Sheng and his assistant Mr. Li Qingfeng meet and discussed with Dr. Yali Zou (Director of the Asian American Studies Center) and Dr. Robert McPherson (Dean of the College of Education) about future opportunities in which the University can work together with China on future Global Leadership Training Programs.  Also attending the meeting, Mr. Yao Weike, Honorable Consul in Chief for Science and Technology Affairs (Consulate of the People’s Republic of China in Houston) and his associate Mr. Chen who play a vital part of planning such training programs by being a bridge and support system in order to accomplish successful collaboration between the US and China.
