Live Chat Policy
The Writer’s Block is here to give live writing advice to students of all disciplines. To access the chat click on the “Launch Live Meebo Chat!” graphic at the bottom of the page. Pop-ups need to be enabled on your browser in order to enter a chat session. Before submitting a question please change your “meeboguest” name to your People Soft ID number. Topics the Writer’s Block can help you with include:
Grammar Rules – punctuation, syntax
Citations – help with all things bibliographic
Writing Process – from brainstorming to revising and applying those critical finishing touches
Please limit questions to 50 words, including anything excerpted from your work. The Writer’s Block tends to favor concise and focused queries, so make sure to present your issue clearly. This chat service does not intend to replace a consultation in the Writing Center. If you need further assistance, please make an appointment.
