HEALTH CENTER TO OFFER FREE DIABETES SCREENINGS
The Health Center will offer the campus community free diabetes screenings from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 27. Faculty, staff and students can have their blood sugar checked and receive information and handouts regarding diabetes. The ideal times to test blood sugar is during
fasting (eight-12 hours without eating) or non-fasting (two hours after the last meal). For more information, call 713-743-5156.

STAFF AWARD DEADLINE APPROACHES
Faculty, staff, students and the public may nominate eligible staff members for this year’s Staff Excellence Awards. Previous award recipients can not be nominated. Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. March 20 in the Department of Human Resources. Award recipients receive a certificate and $1,000.
