The
Department of Human Resources (HR) is accepting applications for
the UH Staff Tuition Scholarship Program for spring 2006. The deadline
is Jan. 6. All full-time, benefits-eligible, nonprobationary employees
are eligible to apply for a scholarship of up to $750 toward a three-credit

12/09/05 WEIGHT WATCHERS TO KICK OFF NEW SESSION
The
UH Weight Watchers at Work group will begin a new 15-week session
in January. Interested participants must register by Dec. 16. The
session will cost $180. Faculty and staff can pay using TexFlex
medical savings with a doctor’s medical note. For more information,

12/09/05 FREE MOTOR ASSISTANCE PROGRAM A CALL AWAY
The
UH Department of Parking and Transportation Services provides free
motor assistance to the UH community. The department assists in
unlocking motor vehicles and changing flat tires, and it offers

11/07/05 UH TO LAUNCH ANNUAL CHARITABLE CAMPAIGN
The
annual UH State Employees Charitable Campaign (UH SECC) begins Monday,
Nov. 7 for all full-time, benefits-eligible employees. UH SECC is
an easy way to contribute to a favorite nonprofit organization.
During the week of Nov. 7, employees will receive information and
sign-up packets containing a brochure listing the names and descriptions
of more than 500 participating organizations including the university’s
Houston Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic. Additional information

UH Department of Human Resources is offering series of free financial
planning seminars. The last seminar for the fall semester will be
held Dec. 7 and will focus on asset allocation. The series is open

Faculty and staff can now view and print W-2s from 2002 to 2004
on PASS at http://my.uh.edu/pass.
PASS enables faculty and staff to view and make changes to personal
information online. They also may assess their benefits plans, printable
paycheck stubs and other documents.
For employees who do not have Internet access, computer stations
are located in Room 110 in the Graduate School of Social Work Building,
M.D. Anderson Library, rooms 325 and 346 of McElhinney Hall and
various locations within the University Center (UC) and the UC Satellite.
