UH TO HOST FULBRIGHT SCHOLAR WORKSHOP

UH invites faculty and administrators to attend an informational workshop regarding Fulbright Scholar opportunities at 10 a.m., Friday, April 24 in the M.D. Anderson Library, The Honors College Commons. The seminar is designed for scholars who want to teach and conduct research abroad as well as faculty who want to host visiting Fulbright scholars from abroad.

Athena Fulay and Trevor Foley, both representatives from the International Exchange of Scholars, will conduct the workshop. Attendees will learn about lecturing and research opportunities in more than 150 countries and about how to prepare the application. They will also receive advice on selecting a country and making contact abroad as well as how departments can host a visiting foreign Fulbright scholar.
