SEARCH COMMITTEE FOR VC/VP FOR RESEARCH SUBMITS NAMES

I am pleased to announce that the committee has submitted the following four names to Chancellor Gogue:

• Dr. Donald Birx, Interim Vice President for Research, New Mexico State University
• Dr. Michael Dockter, Former Vice Chancellor for Research, University of Tennessee Health Science Center
• Dr. Michael Harold, Chair, Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Houston
• Dr. Neal Pellis, Associate Director, Science Management, NASA-Johnson Space Center

The committee expresses its appreciation to the campus community for its participation in the campus visits of the candidates. Chancellor Gogue will now begin his consideration of the candidates.
