May 10, 2005 POLICE ARRESTED AND CHARGED On May 4, University of Houston investigators assisted the Pasadena Police Department and the Texas Rangers in identifying two suspects connected to an April 15 carjacking at UH and several armed robberies in the Pasadena area. Both suspects have been arrested and charged with the carjacking and robberies; but the investigation continues. The carjacking at UH took place in the parking lot of Cullen Oaks Apartments. A female student was sitting in her car when one of the suspects brandished a gun and instructed her to move into the passenger’s seat. The suspects drove the student to the intersection of Cullen Boulevard and Elgin Boulevard, where she was released unharmed. Mike Emery |
