February 24, 2005 UH TO PARTICIPATE IN GO TEXAN DAY University of Houston President Jay Gogue announced that UH will participate in Go Texan Day, Friday, Feb. 25 in honor of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Country-western attire is appropriate to wear on that day. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is an entertainment and educational charity that benefits the youth of Texas. Since the 1980s, more than 700 UH students have received HLS&R scholarships totaling more than $5 million. The annual UH Night at the Rodeo is Wednesday, March 2. Francine Parker
