NOMINATIONS NEEDED FOR DISTANCE EDUCATION
AWARD
The Provost’s Office is
seeking nominations for the 2004-2005 University of Houston Award
for Teaching Excellence in Distance Education. The award honors
an outstanding faculty member who has taught an officially scheduled
distance course during spring 2004, summer 2004 or fall 2004 in
which 50 percent or more of the course was delivered by a distance-learning
technology. The award carries a $5,000 prize. Faculty, students,
staff and alumni may make nominations.
