When the Cougars face Tulane University at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, the UH Athletics Department will honor the Houston Independent School District (HISD). Robert Stockwell, HISD chief academic officer and a UH alumnus, will serve as the honorary captain of the game prior to kick off.

More than 4,000 HISD students, family members and employees are expected to attend the game. At the game, UH will feature various interactive games and contests for all kids. In addition, 700 HISD kids will perform a cheerleading show at halftime.
