03/23/2007: TUSANA night Dinner

TUSANA organized a dinner event entitled:




The dinner took place on March 23, 2007, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, at the O'Quinn Great Hall, Alumni Building, University of Houston, 3100 Cullen Blvd, Houston, 77204.

TUSANA was honored by the presence of the Tunisian Ambassador to the USA, faculty members, alumni, students, tunisian community in Texas and friends of TUSANA.

03/06/2007: TUSANA Food Sale

On Tuesday, March 6th 2007, TUSANA will hold a food sale with Tunisian food such as Couscous, breeks, tajines, salad. Tunisian tea and baklawas will be served.
Please join us this day and eat good and healthy food, from 11am to 2.30 pm.

02/03/2007 : TUSANA Potluck at ACC

Five new students joined the TUSANA familly, we invite you for a welcome party.
Join us on Saturday Febrary 3rd, 2007 at 2.30pm at the ACC.(Arab American Cultural & Community Center 10555 Stancliff Road Houston, Texas 77099)
We will also organize a soccer game for both kids and adults.

01/14/2007 : New Tunisian students at UH, Rice and Texas A&M

Five tunisian students joined the TUSANA familly for PhD programs:

• Saber Feki and Malek Smaoui in Computer Science at UH
• Hassene Jammoussi in Mechanical Engineering at UH,
• Landolsi Fakhreddine in Mechanical Engineering at Rice University
• Amira Barhoumi at Texas A&M in Dept. of Aerospace Eng.

10/24/2006: TUSANA Picnic on Saturday, October 24th

The TUnisian Student Association in North America, TUSANA invites you for the celebration of the Eid il Fitr with a friendly BBQ at the ACC (Arab-American Cultural and Community Center 10555 Stancliff Road, Houston, Texas 77099) on Saturday 28th 2006 from 1pm.
The Picnic will be followed by a presentation on TUSANA activities during the Diversity Week. Indeed, TUSANA has participated to the Diversity Week at the University of Houston and won the First Price ! Pictures and videos will be shown and there will be a handing-over of certificates.

10/08/2006 : Diversity Week

TUSANA will be part of the Diversity Week 2006 at the University of Houston with twelve other international organizations.

Here is the program:

• Tuesday, October 17th 11.30am to 1pm : Diversity kick-off with a performance
• Tunisian songs with tradionational clothes



• Wednesday, October 18th: 11am to 3.30om: International Festival:
• Booth set up with posters and presentations on Tunisia
• Lunch : Couscous, breeks, tajines will be sold



• Saturday, October 21st: procession with its members on the half time show of the Football game UH v. UTEP at 6pm.

10/07/2006 : ACC Iftar invitation on Sunday, October 15th

Arab American Cultural & Community Center

The Arab American Cultural & Community Center have invited the members of TUSANA to the iftar at the ACC center. It will be an occasion to break the fast with other people from the Arab community in Houston

09/14/2006 : New Tunisians student at UH

First of all, TUSANA would like to congratulate Nejib Chenoufi and Wided for their wedding. We wish them all the best and a happy life together . Wided will integrate UH on the spring semester.
Secondly, TUSANA is happy to welcome a new tunisian student, Mohamed Larbi Ellabib. He is accepted in the Computer Science Department as a Master student and he belongs to the same research team of Hatem and Bilel.
