SPC to elect editors April 15
The Student Publications Committee will meet Wednesday, April 15, 2009 to elect the editors in chief for The Daily Cougar student newspaper and the Houstonian yearbook. The meeting is open to the public.
CNBAM recognizes The Daily Cougar
The Daily Cougar recently won several awards from the College Newspaper Business and Advertising Managers organization, including:
- Best in Category - Best Color Display Advertisement
- 1st place - Best Display Advertising Campaign
- 1st place - Best Newspaper Promotional Ad (black and white)
- 3rd place - Best Sales Promotional Material
The annual CNBAM contest draws entries from hundreds of college newspapers. The Cougar beat out entries from big schools like the University of Pittsburgh, The University of Pennsylvania, Arizona State University, Texas Tech University and more. Read a list of recent awards The Daily Cougar has won.
