Our goal is to provide a one-stop on campus shop for the needs of the University of Houston research and teaching community.  We are conveniently located in the middle of campus on the second floor of the "Old" Science Building. With competitive pricing and immediate availability, you save time and money!

The University of Houston Research Stores is operated by the Department of Biology & Biochemistry and has been serving the University community for about 40 years. In 1997 the Biology Stores and Chemistry Stockroom were merged to create University Research Stores. The Biology Stores and Chemistry stockrooms were established in the early 1960's. The Biology Stores was known as Biology Stockroom until the early 1990's and was located in Room 209 of the "Old Science" building. The Chemistry stockroom used to be located in Room 36 (the basement) of the Fleming Building. Our customers include researchers, graduate students, office staff and undergraduate students. We sell materials used in teaching and research labs and in offices throughout the University. Anyone with a University account is able to make purchases at Research Stores. Undergraduate students may purchase lab coats, lab kits, lab notebooks, office & computer supplies.
