Innovation & Partnerships

The Center for Innovation & Partnerships (CIP) is industry's gateway to innovation at the University of Houston. Its goal is to unite the University of Houston with start-ups, midsize companies, large corporations and non-profit organizations to bring UH discoveries to the marketplace. We are equipped to partner with businesses from various industries, including health, biotech, energy, cleantech, nanotech, and bioimaging.

Industry partners can take advantage of UH's powerful centers of creativity in which teams of renowned researchers from a wide range of disciplines collaborate on issues of scientific, intellectual, social, economic, environmental and cultural importance for the benefit of society and in support of UH's path to Tier One research university status.

Tom Campbell is the Interim Executive Director of the Center for Innovation & Partnerships. He oversees UH Innovation, the iCorps program site and the monetization of UH's IP portfolio.
