Do I Get?
Fitness assessment that includes body composition, body mass index, waist-hip ratio, resting heart rate, personal wellbeing index, exercise questionnaire, resting blood pressure, UH non-exercise test, physical activity program Professional instruction on strength training, cardiovascular training, flexibility, and proper nutrition Methods for increases in strength and muscle mass and decreases in body fat Customized fitness program printed on workout cards Periodization to increase motivation, decrease boredom, and decrease risk of injury, and to train at peak performance at all times Knowledge and motivation to assist you in creating a better body and living a healthier lifestyle
Train with a Friend
(Buddy)
Train with a friend can train with one personal trainer, save on session fees, and have a great workout partner as well
What Else Do I Need To Know?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and athletic shoes First session will consist of a discussion on current health and fitness lifestyle and habits Sessions are 1 hour in length Rescheduling or canceling of sessions must be done 24 hours prior to your session to avoid being charged for that session

Trainers' Credentials
All trainers are certified with the national certifications including, National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), American Council on Exercise (ACE), APEX, and International Sports and Science Association (ISSA) Ø Level I: beginner trainers with less than 1 year of training experience Ø Level II: intermediate trainers with at least 1 year of training experience Ø Level III: advanced trainers with 2+ years of training experience Ø Independent Contractors: UH alumni, advanced level trainers
