Instructor Training

Looking for an exclusive opportunity to keep in great shape and possibly make money? The Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness Center will be offering YOU the opportunity to do just that in the spring semester.

In fact, Group Fitness Instructors may have the best job on campus. Imagine getting paid to do Zumba or Night Club Cardio or Yoga. Now imagine being one of the university’s first instructors for the popular Masala Bhangra Workout classes that will begin this semester. If you’re still reading and want to become and instructor, you’re in luck! The Rec will be hosting licensing instructor trainings for both classes this semester!

Our ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification will give you the knowledge to design and teach any class better, lead all fitness levels more effectively, and deliver experiences your participants will never forget. Don’t position yourself as a performer when you can position yourself as a professional.

WHY CHOOSE ACE? Teach any class better, lead all fitness levels more effectively, and deliver experiences your participants will never forget. We are guided by our mission to empower people to live their most fit lives. Our ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification helps us do that by producing quality, knowledgeable leaders who can safely and effectively guide the millions of people who attend classes every year.

The Masala Bhangra Workout will be held on Saturday, October 4th from 9:00am-5:00pm and Sunday, October 5th from 9:00am – 2:00pm in the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. To attend the Masala Bhangra instructor training, go to masalabhangraworkout.com and register for the UH training. Spaces are limited so act fast if you are interested in becoming licensed to instruct one or both of the classes.
