Elizabeth A. (Libby) Barlow

As Executive Director of Academic and Institutional Information, Dr. Libby Barlow has supervisory responsibility for the University of Houston's office of Institutional Research and Institutional Effectiveness, and the Registrar's Office. Dr. Barlow's responsibilities include ensuring the integrity of academic data entry and extraction; managing business processes impacting both student services and student records data; and overseeing the preparation of accurate and relevant reports for external and internal constituents, including state and federal mandated reporting, retention and graduation analyses, and other internal trend analyses. Dr. Barlow facilitates the Institutional Effectiveness planning process across campus, working with assessment staff distributed throughout the colleges to build assessment processes in support of student learning.
