Faculty Position - Hispanic/Latino Literature of the U.S. - Tenure-Track

Description:

The Department of Hispanic Studies at the University of Houston invites applications from candidates at or promotable to the Associate Professor rank in Hispanic/Latino literature of the United States.

We encourage candidates with an extensive publication record in any area of Latino literature.

The DHS has one of the leading graduate programs in the field of US Latino Studies, offering M.A and Ph.D degrees in Spanish with this specialization, and currently has 15 full-time faculty members.

Appointment begins August 2010 to teach 2/2 at graduate and undergraduate levels.
