Assistant Professor - Comparative Politics - Tenure-Track

Description:

The Department of Political Science at the University of Houston invites applications for a tenure-track position in Comparative Politics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in fall 2010.

Candidates who focus on the politics of Advanced Industrial Democracies are particularly encouraged to apply. We are interested in candidates who conduct research in areas including, but not necessarily limited to, comparative public policy, political economy, and/or comparative institutions.

Successful candidates should have extensive methodological training, the potential for excellence in scholarly research and publication, and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching.
