Assistant or Associate Professor - Environmental/Energy Law - Tenure-Track

Description:

The University of Houston Law Center invites applications for an entry or lateral tenure-track position in Environmental or Energy Law.

Successful applicants will hold a J.D. degree (or the equivalent) and will demonstrate a high probability of success as scholars, teachers, and members of the Law Center's broader community. Compensation will be based on experience and accomplishment. The position will commence with the Fall 2010 semester.

The Law Center:

The Law Center has 50 full-time faculty and enrolls a total of 1,100 students. In addition to offering a vibrant J.D. program, the Law Center offers LL.M. concentrations in health law; taxation; energy, environment and natural resources; international economics; and intellectual property. The Law Center is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The Law Center is home to a number of research centers and institutes including the Health Law and Policy Institute.
