Assistant or Associate Professor - Trust and Wills, Tax Law, Health Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution - Tenure-Track

Description:

The University of Houston Law Center invites applications for entry or lateral tenure-track positions.

Successful applicants will hold a J.D. degree (or the equivalent) and will demonstrate a high probability of success as scholars, teachers, and members of the Law Center's broader community. Compensation will be based on experience and accomplishment. These positions will commence with the Fall 2010 semester.

Areas of particular interest include Trust and Wills, Tax Law, Health law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

The Law Center has 50 full-time faculty and enrolls a total of 1100 students. In addition to offering a vibrant J.D. program, the Law Center offers LL.M. concentrations in health law; taxation; energy, environment and natural resources; international economics; and intellectual property. The Law Center is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The Law Center is home to a number of research centers and institutes including the Health Law and Policy Institute and the Intellectual Property and Information Law Institute.
