Description:
The Department of English at the University of Houston is searching for an Assistant or Associate Professor in African American Literature.
The period and specialized area of critical expertise are open. The successful candidate would be expected to teach a variety of courses in African American literature at the undergraduate and graduate levels; be able to supervise advanced doctoral students in the field; and should have a record of outstanding teaching and successful research and scholarship.
