Assistant Professor - Two (2) Positions - Economics - Tenure-Track

Description:

The Economics Department seeks to appoint two tenure track assistant professors effective August 2010.

Preference will be given to micro economists doing applied theory and/or empirical work with fields in environmental/energy, industrial organization/development, or political economy.

Candidates must have strong research skills and a commitment to graduate education. Candidates must have or expect to have their Ph.D. by August 2010.

Review of candidates will begin November 1, 2009, and continue until the position is filled.

Candidates should send their curriculum vita, 3 reference letters, and a sample research paper. The Department plans to interview at the 2010 AEA meetings in Atlanta.
