As a child in Nigeria, soccer was your first love. But basketball became your sport. You came to America to play for the University of Houston, and Phi Slama Jama was born. You became "the Dream," taking the sport above the rim and thrilling crowds with your fancy footwork.

You helped usher in a golden era, taking UH to two national championships. As one of the greatest players in NBA history, you led the Houston Rockets to win back-to-back NBA crowns. Hakeem Olajuwon, you are a legend. You Are the Pride.
