The extreme weather conditions of this winter had the potential not only to impact plants and shrubs on campus, but also to cause damage to water features.

The Student Service Plaza fountain was initially drained due to the unusually cold weather experienced this winter. Since the fountain has been drained, plans are to remove leaves, power wash the interior and sides, and have it back in service by the end of this week, ready to be enjoyed once again by students, faculty and staff.
