Facilities Planning and Construction hosted the 2012 University Facilities Planning and Construction Statewide Facilities Meeting on Sept. 12 and 13 at the Conrad Hilton Hotel. Nine universities across Texas were represented and participated in sharing ideas and networking. Attendees toured the Health and Biomedical Sciences Building and the Cougar Woods Dining Hall and heard  presentations on Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Design Standards, Project Delivery Process, FAMIS Implementation at UH, and Project Controls and Construction Inspections.
