College Recognizes Graduating Students

Class of 2014 Graduates Acknowledged for Excellence in Academic Scholarship and Service to Community, Peers and Profession

UH College of Pharmacy's annual Graduation Awards & Reception, which is traditionally held on the evening before Commencement, presents an opportunity for the college's administration, faculty and students to acknowledge the hard work, dedication and service of its graduating students on their milestone achievement.  

At the May 8 reception at the UH Hilton, the following members of the Class of 2014 were recognized for the academic scholarship and service to the community, their peers and their profession:

In addition to the student awards, two UHCOP faculty members also were recognized at the event: Paige Pitman received the Phi Lambda Sigma Faculty Leadership Award and Rustin Crutchley earned the UHCOP Faculty Preceptor Award.

A special Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Melanie Laine by Rear Admiral Scott T. Giberson, Acting U.S. Deputy Surgeon General and Class of 2014 Commencement speaker.
